I Get REAL FOOD Now!

For the last week Sayler has been watching us eat everything and smacking her lips... so we decided to try her on rice cereal! She Loved it. Now She won't have a bottle without some first! She watches what everyone eats soooo carefully it makes you feel pretty guilty for eating in front of her!

Sayler's First Easter

Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids! It was fun to watch Sayler get into her Easter basket! Even at this young she seemed to understood that it was hers and she was pulling everything out of it! Thank you to Aunt Holly for the beautiful Easter dress!

A Beautiful Baby

Kevin and I feel so blessed to have Sayler in our lives. She is so much fun. Sayler is now at the point where everything goes in the mouth... but her sweet smile melts my heart everytime, especially when accompanied by a giggle!

Long Awaited Route 66 Road Trip!!!

Over the last 2 and a half years that we have lived here in Sterling we have driven to Arizona countless times. Each time we pass the Route 66 signs Kevin has said, someday when we drive this we are going to take our time and visit all the historic Route 66 stuff. Well He got his chance! We went to Arizona for a business trip and since Sayler is too little to fly we drove... and since we had to stop every 4 hours anyway... we thought we'd fullfill Kevin's dream! Here are the pictures from our trip!

Her Mother's Daughter

Sayler is definitely her mother's daughter, she loves the silky parts on the blankets, her daddy, and is by far most fashionable baby around!(Thanks to grandma and all her adopted grandmas and aunts here in Sterling!) We are well taken care of and loved.

Sayler is changing everyday. This week she is loving playing on the floor with rattles and anything that makes noise! She loves details as you can see from the picture with her doll!

Best Friends Already

Todd and Julie finally came back to visit us! We had soooo much fun. I wish I had taken more pictures of us all, but you get the kids, they're cuter anyway!! Sayler loves her cousin Ameliah, Ameliah read her stories, sang her songs and played with her!

Hey... What you got????

Can I have it????

Cannon found some more interesting friends!

Daddy's Little Girl

Kevin has been really sick with the flu this last week and has been quarentined to one side of the house so he doesn't get us sick. The week before that he was in AZ for 5 days! It has been way to long since both his babies have been held tight! Sayler loves her daddy. I might be able to get her to smile and laugh, but she saves her biggest grins for her dad. The baby book says when they get excited at this age they express it with their whole body, well when dad gets her to smile you better hold on to her tight or she'll wriggle right our of your arms!

I caught this moment when Kevin was watching her while I was in the shower. I could hear him talking to her and grabbed the camera and snuck this shot! No posing for mom here! I love her wrapt attention to his story!
